1998:
	Tommy and Neil Anton meet up and decide to form a band. Neil Anton has the idea for the bandname.
1999:
January	Neil Antons brother Trond is asked to join the new band on drums.
March	Holger has an ad in a musicians magazine which Neil Anton responses to. First rehearsal march 29.
June	June 12. is the date of the first Piggyback-gig which is played at a club called Pigalle in Oslo together with three other bands.
autumn	Piggyback rehearses new songs and plays a few gigs.
2000:
January	The guys decide to record a demo and picks out 5 songs. The idea is to pick out three of them to include on the demo.
May	Mixing and finalizing of the demo begins. The guys find it hard to pick out songs and decide to include all 5 and release them as an EP.
September	September 2nd is the releaseparty of the EP. The record gets good reviews in norwegian press, but is left unnoticed by radio and musicindustry
autumn	The guys decide to make a killer liveset and hit the road. Booking gigs for an unknown band is difficult though.
December	In studio again - recording what is to be a radiopromo-single called Peggy Porn.
2001:
January	The guys finish production and mixing of the single Peggy Porn. One gig played at Volapük Winterfestival.
February	The single is sent out to radiostations across Norway february 13. Peggy is playlisted on a few local radiostations and gets good reviews in the press. One gig at Amatøren in Oslo
March	Peggy still playlisted on local radiostations. A gig played at Gamla.
April	During easter we recorded four songs for a new EP. Two gigs played.
Summer	Quiet times. - Working on the new EP and rehearsals. One gig played in July in Tønsberg. Positive responses on our first attempts towards the record-industry, yet no deals in sight. Recorded the b-side of the Postulate-single in Laidback studio.
September	September starts off with promosingle-release and a gig at Nyx. Because of flooding in our rehearsing-studio we were not able to practice as much as we would like to. Luckily no equipment was damaged.
October	We opened for Crash Test Dummies at their concert on Betong oct 8, and returned to the small stage on the 10th together with Velodyne and The Blackbirds. The rest of the month was spent in the rehearsing studio. We blew dust off a few old songs and practised on a couple of new ones.
December	Piggyback is history. It was fun while it lasted.
